Hi! Does anyone know if reverse dieting can work if my metabolism is broken not just due to dieting, but also taking antidepressants! These pills made me gain a lot of weight and when I stopped taking them, even though I'm eating very little, I have lost nothing

People dont understand that what is usually meant by this is consuming 1 big meal a day that has low nutritions but high calories vs low calorie volumized diet when you eat every few hours. It is volume in vs volume out, not calories in and calories out. But counting calories is the way here.

The thing is, I don't purposely take naps. I'm a reader. I love reading, but when I try to read during the day I typically get tired, my eyes get droopy, and I fall asleep. but if I read at night, I'm wide awake and focused on what the book is saying and 5 hours can pass by and I don't even realize

Man all of the comments on this video are so stupid. Are you looking for a magic cure? He’s not saying getting 2 hours sleep a night is a good thing, he’s saying that the road to recovery starts with learning to ease your stress about being awake. The more you freak out about being able to sleep the less likely you are to fall asleep so you have to learn to calm your mind by realizing that if you’re awake stressing, will not help

I fall asleep just fine but then......come 2.00-2.30 am....wide awake. Can't read cause then I need light to see and that'll wake up my partner who also deals with insomnia. Sometimes we're awake at the same time but that is rare. So when he sleeps, I'm not about to go do things that might wake him up. Therefore....I lay there and eventually grab my phone and listen to soft music or guided meditations.

Taking melatonin is a joke companies are making big $$$ on people selling melatonin. Your brain makes a tiny amount of melatonin much less than 1mg and you can purchase it with up to 10mg. I was taking it alot without doing and research and now I have a pineal cyst that is causing debilitating migraine headaches.

Guys try this I was also not being able to sleep from the past 2 weeks but I tried working out and workout will not give you results in 1 night . It takes atleast a few days to show results. I have been working out for like an hour and eating well properly and hitting the bed in between 10-11 because at that time the natural melatonin of body is high! So try doing this not all but many of you will get good results I promise.

I have ADHD. A dark room and a book (if that really worked) would have saved me years of missing morning University classes and losing jobs if it were that simple. I had several sleep studies done before I was diagnosed. Vyvanse out of everything has been the thing that has regulated my sleep. I do take a variation of herbal supplements to help calm me at night too. Give people some that are suffering with sleep issues and disorders some deeper solutions. It can be really invalidating and frustrating to be told to have hot cup of tea, take a bath, and having a dark room to help you sleep when you’ve tried everything and nothing works. There is nothing worse than not being able to sleep.

When you can't sleep suffiently but have to keep a schedule. Insomnia makes one ill and performs poorly when, with sufficient sleep, one can feel well and perform at top notch. So be comfortable being ill and performing poorly.

Tell me you don't know anything about melatonin without telling me you don't know anything about melatonin. Only 5% of the bodies melatonin is produced by the pineal gland at night when we sleep. Do you have any idea what melatonin does? I didn't think so.
